| | I've been in the mood for poetry, so I'm straying from my plan to move on to some nonfiction. Instead, I've shifted to poetry, so now my list looks a little something like this.
Books of 2009
Big Fish by Daniel Wallace Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury Nine Horses by Billy Collins
There's something about sitting on the couch on a Saturday snuggled up with a hardcover of poetry that just makes you feel good. Almost like you're in front of a roaring fire...or Joan's mom from Joan of Arcadia, as she's always snuggled on a couch reading a book at night.
Anyway, in other news, I got a new lens from my camera. It's a fisheye, and I'm quite enjoying it. This weekend I hope to go outdoors and take some pics, but here's the one that I've uploaded so far.
For about half an hour after this, I was sure I broke the bed. Note: I didn't. And by the way, my room's a wreck!
What else is new? Well, it's just a wee bit over a week before two main events: 1) the premiere of Dollhouse, Joss Whedon's new hit, and 2) my trip to Philly to see college friends. I've never been to Philly before, so it should be fun. Any recommendations about what to visit? Hopefully, cheaply?
Last, below, you'll see a new CD I bought. I'm a bit sad about it, solely because I bought it at the Circuit City liquidation. I always like Circuit City better than Best Buy. In fact, I specifically tracked down a Circuit City here, even though it's a lot less convenient than Best Buy, which are near public transportation. CC, I will miss you

i like my job, but we seriously get all these crazy people coming in to our office. i really think there's some invisible sign outside our door that only they can see. then you have to be nice to them when they treat you like crap.
